Somebody’s doorway

This hole (fox den?) has just appeared in the communal garden. The compost heap and some dense shrubberies are close by. 
We meant to watch the football but both were busy with other stuff and actually forgot about it! But we tuned in late and saw the extra time. 
We started reading an essay by Emerson. We read a lot together during lockdown, and it has been a good thing to do.
