View from the bird hide
Our walk along the river into Otterton and back didn’t produce anything interesting to photograph so my blip is taken of the river mouth from the bird hide. We noticed some more progress on the river restoration project today, there is four new viewing platforms being built to watch the wildlife.
I wish dog owners would take heed of the advice to keep their dogs on a lead along the river and not let them go into the river where there are fish, beavers, otters and other wildlife. We even saw two paddle boarders quite a way up the river today.
We watched the Lionesses win the European cup and then some more swimming at the Euros. The evening finished with a FaceTime call from our son in Canada. He says it’s 34 degrees in the mountains and not the hottest time of the day as they are seven hours behind us.
