Football's Come Home

Although we desperately need rain, we were quite happy that it held off this afternoon as we had a family party which partially relied on decent weather. In practice, it was cloudy but with a little sun, and warm, so we were able to spread outside into the park where the children could enjoy some of the activities available to them.

Almost all of my photographs today were family shots which I won't post here, so this is just a general shot of people relaxing in the park; unsurprisingly on a Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of people around.

Although we were home too late to see most of the game, we watched extra time in the Womens Euro Finals and saw the winning goal.  It was quite a match.  Then I caught up on the day's Formula 1 race, which was also exciting.
