Balance

Decided to try Rebecca out with the balance bike today. She liked it, but got bored fairly quickly. She's still a bit too small for it. But I think she liked having her own bike.

We put the stabilisers down a bit on Elizabeth's bike and she's now absolutely fine with it. It was wobbly before, which was throwing her confidence. But today she was even going "wheeeeee" down the hills. Lovely to see her enjoying it.

Rebecca's going through a bit of a phase, I'm hoping it's teeth or a new developmental stage and not the terrible twos. She's getting upset easily and often. Not like her!

But we're getting more words from her all the time. Pointing to the possibility that it's a developmental stage.

I shouldn't say it, because it will probably jinx it, but both girls are sleeping through the night more often now. And sometimes even on the same night!

They had a night away at Nana and Grandads house earlier in the week. That was Rebecca's first sleep over there. It all went well!
