Walk by the Clutha River

Today 12 of us parked at Shortcut Road and walked upstream to Reko's Point.  I did 12K steps.  +10C.   The weather was beautiful and sunny when we set out, but soon clouded over.  Heavy rain in the forecast!!

We stopped for a cuppa on the way home, the first cafe was closed due to 'staff shortages' but luckily the second cafe we tried was open, and very pleased to see the 12 of us.  Had an unexpected chat to PianoLady, didn’t talk too long as there was a cold wind blowing. Home now in front of the fire, and will spend the evening watching the Commonwealth Games.
