The parish council (pc) had four and a half pages to present their "view" on Collies development, including a half page design plan, that had already been shown on a full page in June's issue.

The editor could not "find" any space for our succinct page summarising the results of the village survey, nor could we reserve any space for the following issue; not even a sentence.

44 households (25%) completed the survey, most with detailed comments. In summary only 20% were in favour of the pc design, with 80% wanting it to have much less landscaping and to be more natural and wildlife friendly. The pc were given all the survey data (some names redacted where privacy was wanted).
