Non-compliant

"Keep that shoulder immobile for three weeks," the consultant told Ms Fitty after she fractured it on Wednesday, "and then we'll look at some gentle physiotherapy."

Um, really?

Here she is waiting for the booking assessment at the Epilepsy Society's William Gowers Centre in  Chalfont. (This  is a wondrous place where they have in the past worked a miracle described as 'optimisation of anti-epileptic drug treatment' for Ms F, and, with any luck,  may do so again.)

In the meantime she is playing pool with Austin, who remembers her from last time.
