Sweet peas and brass bands

No blue skies today, but dry at least, until we had three drops of rain at 4.20! Spent a lot of the morning in front of the computer, Keep Oban Beautiful stuff and various other necessities.

Very much a day at home - potting up rooted cuttings and seedlings, then weeding the Drive Bed. As I came round to the 'town' side of the house I could hear the strains of a brass band - the Moray Concert Brass playing down in Station Square. We went to hear them last night at McCaig's Tower - Mrs M said she could hear music so we went up to have a look. Usually it's the Oban High School Pipe band playing up here, so it was unusual to hear a brass band. They're obviously touring around, raising money for local charities, so they've had a couple of days here. I took loads of pictures - the bright sun was reflecting off the instruments and McCaig's Tower was reflected too. I know it was last night, but I've put one on as an extra!

My Blip today is of the Sweet Peas in our deck planters - Mrs M was going to cut some for indoors, so I went out with the camera first!
