Evening Primrose

The Evening primrose I grew from seed last year came back well this year. Lots of lovely flowers, although each bloom only lasts one day.
It’s been a fine day here. Sunny, but windy.
Maggie and I had lunch in the garden, then later we walked down to John’s Sweetie shop and got ice cream cones, which we ate sitting on the shore looking across the sea.
We played in the play park on the way home.
Then we fed the birds and picked some broccoli for our tea. Maggie was excited because she sowed the broccoli seeds in the spring and has been following their growth.
