I waited to see if the box tree moth that I discovered in the back garden last night (adding as an extra in yesterday's blip) had returned before blipping this.  It hasn't.  We have an active bat.  Hopefully, it's bat food by now.  

I'd heard they've been making their way north and there had been local sightings.  It'll be a bit sad if the caterpillars discover Boxy McBoxFace before he's had chance to wear his hat.  We humans damage the place far more though (and we brought it in), so although it's not a native moth, I won't be getting any bug killer.  I'm thinking Osmanthus might be a nice alternative if we lose Boxy - and it has bee friendly flowers.
