Mr A rescued this cast iron frame a few years ago and made it into a table with bench seats, using reclaimed scaffolding boards.

It was never the most comfortable seat in the garden and never really got the use that we thought it would. Time then to upcycle.

During our recent trip to Bicester Village, we saw they’d used old tables, benches and all manner of things as plant stands. They looked really effective, so we decided to do the same in our garden.

Mr A has made the table smaller to fit in the space he’d picked out. I think he’s done a great job :-)
