Blumenauer Bridge

Today was the opening day celebration of Portland's new Bluemenauer Bridge, formally the Congressman Earl Blumenhauer Bicycle andPedestrian Bridge. We didn't get there early enough to see Earl, but we did cross it and mingled with a lot of hot celebrants on this 100 degree day. Can you see the white arches of the Bridge? Eric and Steve are walking toward it. The Bridge crosses over Highway 84 and joins the the Lloyd District with the Kerns neighborhood in inner northeast Portland.
