“Senza Parole” (Lost for Words)

You may wonder why I’m using the Italian expression “Senza Parole”, in England, for a German car. For good reason, my love affair with Porsche started when an Italian friend (years ago) had a predecessor of the beauty blipped. I thought it was a Porsche 356 from the 1950s, but ……..

Just googled, re Crispin’s comment below. “Hand-built by Chesil (this one, in 2009), the world-renowned Chesil Speedster 356 Replica is a vehicle of the highest quality, and one that carries a long-standing reputation as a leader in its field. Our attention to detail and high standard of workmanship, along with an ongoing policy of development and improvement, has ensured the longevity of this timeless classic. The Chesil Speedster is a replica of a famous 2-seater sports car from the 1950s, and closely resembles the 1957 model year, its distinctive, classic lines never failing to impress even non-car enthusiasts”.

Sadly I’ve never had the pleasure of owning a Porsche, so have to admire from afar.

Muggy today, with a blustery wind. Took an Apple keyboard back to John Lewis At Home, as replaced by the Amazon case with magic keyboard and touch pad incorporated (blipped yesterday) which cost less than the Apple keyboard alone. Of course if I wanted to splash out I would have had the Apple one but couldn't justify the price.

Walked back to Westbourne to search for Radicchio. None on sale. Had a delicious fresh carrot juice and polenta cake at Dane & Port (all vegan). Haven’t been there for ages as didn’t want to sit inside. Such lovely owners. Then bus home and flaked out on the bed. The humidity has totally got to me!
