Waiting patiently

When we are indoors, Peggy Sue feels that a good way to get our attention so that we can serve her next meal, is to place herself across the hall floor where we are bound to see her.  She is right of course and her method works well...too well sometimes as each of the three of us unwittingly serve her a portion, not realising that others have just done so.
As she is diabetic, she does get hungry but doesn't put weight on any more.  In fairness, since she has had special (very expensive) diabetic cat food, she doesn't seem quite as ravenous and has stopped losing weight.  Fingers crossed that this situation lasts a while at least
