Again

Ah well, back to the mundane, 'repair cafe' world of the Dell House.

You've seen this circuit board before.  

The Miele hoover had died without warning but with a bit of a warm smell.  Again.  Tempted to just get another Henry to replace it. Again.  But, well, having taken it apart previously it was less of a puzzle this time.

Again, the supposedly 'inclined to fail' triac hadn't, nor had my soldering joint from last time, but the copper track to the motor connection had just evaporated.  I'm thinking this is a bit of a Friday 5pm circuit board.

Wired up again and running fine but I think we might get another Henry anyway as there's clearly some design problem here.
