Day 1

A slow start and. Slow day. Just what was required.
Although I woke up every hour from 5am, I slept through 9 and got up at 10!
Morning coffee was spent outside with two of the wild kittens. Eventually mom appeared and we ate lunch on the decking. That’s the bottom photo with Doug desperately trying to get into his prawns!
After a little gardening, mom went back to bed and Audrey and I went into Salinas on a couple of errands and stopped for coffee and a bite sized fruit tart. Perfect. :)
We then took a little tour around Hobby Lobby. A very dangerous place! :D
Home. Mom was still sound asleep so I woke her. She immediately said she was just getting ready to take Jodie out!! Haha! It took her quite a while to come round. Dinner. Watched some ‘Tree house building with an extremely enthusiastic ‘little excited boy’ guy. They obviously had a lot of fun filming it. I did some crochet then bed. :)
