Heavy metal

Have started to restore a few of my old Corgi and Dinky toy vehicles.
The world of vintage die casts is an odd one, restoring a vehicle eliminates any worth the vehicle had. Some vehicles are worth a lot of money, others less so. 
Regarding  the road roller a mint condition original still in the box is worth peanuts whilst the Hillman Imp and Ford Corsair even in played with condition are quite desirable, but as they had been hand painted at some juncture their present worth is minimal.
Keeping me out of mischief and they will provide me with a few blips.
