Last flowers

There are very few flowers left in the garden now. A few blooms on the oleander and a couple of water lilies on the pond and that's about it. Everything else has wilted. The lawn is a pile of hay. And still there is no prospect of rain! I am trying to water what is still alive without waste but it is becoming an increasingly difficult business. If this is the future then a rethink of the garden and the plants in it might be necessary.
