It Was Only A Matter of Time
Hubby is still under the weather. I think he slept almost all day, did not even want lunch. I had breakfast on the front porch and enjoyed the antics of our three hummingbirds. Had really hoped one would slow down for a picture. Our hydrangeas are a bit past peak but still lovely enough to highlight. As the day wore on, I could tell my body was displaying COVID symptoms. Drat!! My sister and I wore masks while we were around crowds and were careful not to touch stuff. We constantly cleaned our hands. But sometimes, I guess you just cannot protect yourself enough. Millie is still doing great with her new food. My SIL is picking up dry cat food with the acceptable ingredients. It will be so much easier if both kitties have the same diet. It was nice outside today. When I got tired of being in bed or on the recliner, I took a walk around the property. Stopped in our garden to enjoy the swing for a bit. Glad to get fresh air. I have taken the second test. It registered positive in 2 minutes. Geez. Most of you have been in this same boat so I am encouraged that you all recovered with no terrible after effects. So good to have a “community.” My children and sister have all offered support. Warms my heart. I read Max Blazer’s blips today while I was trying to catch up. Dear God, come to their aid, please! Thanks for all your kind comments. Stay safe folks. "Being sick in bed is all fun and games when you're little.
