A good Day!

finally, had the urge and energy to get things sorted out in the studio....got my new easel up and operating....and after transporting all my painting gear from the home office to the studio, i got going!

I had a painting that i did a couple of years ago which i really liked....so i used the same palette and somewhat similar composition, altho quite different....and felt very satisfied at the end of the day, just now!!!

These board have been treated with Venetian plaster, then i did a layer of very fluid oil/turpenoid mixture... see extra..... which has such an interesting effect on the plaster.   then with cold wax and oil mixtures.
