A lunch time webinar on the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

The Statement is an invitation from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to “walk with us in a movement of the Australian people for a better future”. It calls for structural reforms including constitutional change to establish a First Nations Voice to Parliament.


The idea of the Voice was rejected by the previous Government in 2017. The new Government has committed to implementation of the Uluru Statement and promised a referendum on enshrining the Voice in the Constitution.

Finally the signs seem hopeful.
