Farmers Market

This is our first visit to the Portland Farmer's Market. It is brimming with activity. People and their babies in strollers, delightful food smells, blue-grass music, food tasting, wine tasting, local produce, fresh jams and jellies, bakery goods, free-ranged chickens and eggs, tofu cheeses, and free-range hippies. "Come on, stop copying my generation and get your own".
I stopped at my favorite stand to have a bouquet of flowers made up for me and a little boy with his animal back-pack stopped me because of his cuteness. This was wonderful way to spend a beautiful spring Saturday morning.
