World Book Night event

The book we chose to give away this afternoon, courtesy of the World Book Day organisation. What followed on from cleaning the hall, baking cakes and organising activities was a disappointing lack of people. Each year we've done this there have been fewer and fewer people and I'm not sure why. Many of the locals who usually support most village events failed to turn up. I think we'll need a different approach to advertising next year.
