Morning light
We were woken up at 5:30 by Lucie who was locked out of her flat and panicking because she had her first work shift at 11am today. She had been out with a friend and left her keys in his bag for safekeeping and he disappeared without telling her... So while SparseRunner went to rescue her, I walked Django. It was first raining but it cleared, and the light was beautiful. I also contacted a friend who I thought would have a spare key of the flat Lucie lives in. I gave her Lucie's number and asked her if she could contact her directly if she could help. Lucie and SpareRunner were back when I returned from the walk and I tried to source some black clothes for Lucie (she needed black clothes for work) so she could go directly to work a sort out the key situation later. I learnt later that my friend had contacted her and had a key so Lucie could get changed properly before her shift. Phew!
One of the reason I had to ask my friend to contact Lucie directly is because I was interviewing this morning. There were very few candidates but one of them seemed to be the right person for the job - hurrah!
In the afternoon we had a rather boring meeting, which thankfully finished early!
