Holkham Beach

Forecast to be the warmest day of the week, we determined not to travel too far today. Reading in the garden and a game of Bananagrams before we headed to the Lord Nelson at Burnham Thorpe for our lunch. Good food and beer (as evidenced in the extra) and a nice pub that has been recently refurbished. Back to try and stay cool in the rising heat which we did just about manage. And this evening Dad and I went to Holkham Beach once the vast majority of folk had departed. We decided it might be too warm a trip for Bailey and he would have had to stay on his lead anyway based on the signs once we were there. Great light and a huge expanse of sand the scale of which always impresses. Shots downloaded and blip uploaded as Bailey and I sit in the garden to make the most of the cool.
