We went green in London!
Two years ago, we had tickets to the ePrix (a bit like Formula 1 but the cars are electric) season finale in London but Covid put paid to that.
Last year the race went ahead but there were no tickets on sale for the general public. We watched a little bit from a bridge between one of the docks and the Custom House DLR station.
This year it was third time lucky! The cars are emissions-free so the two London races (held on consecutive days) weave in and out of the Excel Centre. What you can see in the photo is tyre smoke following a spin. Apparently, it’s this race genre that has really boosted the development of batteries that can power road cars.
We had a great day and are already planning to go again next year.
