Camp Service

A busy day! I was doing the livestream with Donald at 8:30 (which he had planned and I sort of an libbed my way through - can’t remember feeling that tired in a while - stayed up late making a sort of summary video of camp). Then 10:30, then lunch with Andy and Gaynor and a walk to Boldmere to watch the relay triathlon, then back for the camp service at church. Donald did a great job - he had a tent on the stage and spent some of his talk zipped inside his tent! But linking what we need to do to stay in the safety of God’s love and tips for surviving well within a tent during a storm! The camp band led worship and some of the young people got up and shared what had been good/significant for them about the week - blipped is Noah, who went through BB and came as a young adult this year (because they missed what would have been their last camp due to covid) - and who has faithfully come to our house throughout the year on Monday evenings for the lads bible study - despite having to get a train from the other side of the city where he’s at uni. A lovely and very funny lad!
