In the garden....

What a day.

It started with the joy of finding the broccoli, lettuce, and corn seedlings I planted last Saturday finally starting to sprout. I promised myself I'd start spending more time outside tending to my garden.

Three hours later, I'm staring at said garden from behind the safety of my bedroom window screen trying to get the 3 firefighters to keep looking for the "rattlesnake" that has decided to hunt the wild birds I've worked so hard to attract with my bird feeder. The snake turned out to be a rather large, yet harmless garter snake.

Either way, I don't feel much like going outside anymore, let alone spending hours tending to my garden!
