The workers

Audrey and Doug were working today, so mom and I (after having a chat with Cathie) drove to Ian and Hailee’s.
They took us to a new gluten free bakery in Monterey. Mom was in her element! Lunch and a goodie later we went for a drive along the coast to Big Sur. Unfortunately as we approached the coast we saw the fog rolling in so there was not too much to see but we enjoyed it anyway.
We drove back over Carmel Valley Road.
From Ian’s mom and I drove back River Road which was dad’s favourite and ours too.
By the time we got to Audrey’s, Ian, Hailee, Eleanor, Zana (the dog) and Devin’s gang were all there with pizza for dinner. (Zana scared off the kittens :(
It was lovely to sit at the table with everyone around. I didn’t take a photo which was a bit of a shame but I just enjoyed the moment.
Ian’s family went home and Devin’s family bedded down here for the night. :D
