Te Maeva Nui 2022

Te Maeva Nui is a week long celebration of dance and culture here in the Cook Islands.
Dance teams from the outer islands compete with local teams.
Tonight and tomorrow are full on with the winners announced on Friday.
Dad and I went along for a while, it’s a long night. I love it.
The drumming, vocals, costumes and amazing moves.
The females glide along while their hips never stop moving, and the males have their own great moves.

We fly home tomorrow ( sad face).
