Those who answered F will be happy to know that the Friday night knees up was well worth attending. Plans are proceeding, loving the crap out of my time there and working with SAM in my off hours. It's challenging and draining, and regular social obligations throw me completely for a loop - although isolation is a tightrope I don't have a great track record with, right now it seems to be the best investment.
