Opposite

Leading on from yesterday’s Blip, the view of two further businesses in the village looking in the opposite direction.
The Post Office, on the right, survives. Without healthy sales from general produce it probably will close. Right next door is its threat. A brand new Shop which is modern and open longer hours than it’s neighbour. It is proving popular particularly among younger people. It is owned by the owner of the Black and Grey pubs that are now closed.
In the additional photo I captured the contents of the rubbish bin outside the Shop. Everything in it could be recycled. Unfortunately it won’t. We have much to do to make progress with sustainability including educating people.
