Moorhen again

The moorhen was back at her old nest site, picking through the detritus. That's a flourishing clump of....something with a purple-ish flower.....which has sprung out of the abandoned swan's nest.

Bad day to blip this spot, I've just realised, as tomorrow being first Wednesday of the month should mean that the WoL crew will be out with their long-handled nippers in the flat-bottomed boat, picking up all the litter.
