Day 216/22. Zara Rutherford, record holder.

A visit to Popham Airfield today for lunch and some photography with grandson Vincent. Then a superstar pilot flew in.
While we were there Zara Rutherford landed in her Shark Microlight.
At age 19, Zara became the youngest female pilot to fly solo around the world and the first person ever to complete a circumnavigation in a microlight aircraft (the aircraft she was in today). Her five-month journey began in Kortrijk, Belgium, on 18 August 2021, and ended on 20 January 2022.
A superstar pilot.
I don't think she was waving at me, her friends were there waiting for her.
