Met the guy from our District council today at our church to discuss mowing, "meadow" management, hedge and grave maintenance; we also looked at the village green. They provide a great service for us and he's very customer friendly. They would look after Collies part of the village green for a fraction of the £2k that our parish council publicly stated recently....

Good deed for the day
Spent a little time hacking back and tidying the nettles and brambles growing across the footpath to the church pre n post meeting.
