Painted Lady

A fine day after what was quite a hot and sticky night... This morning I had a walk around the Millennium Wood up at Castle Camps and was delighted to see this Painted Lady butterfly.

For those interested I put a 36mm extension tube on with my 70-200mm zoom lens which allows frame filling photos of butterflies without having to get very close.
