Never have I ever

Seen a large crawfish/crayfish/mudbug/yabby/crawdad walking across the road!

It was more tolerable this morning heat wise so I got out early to take a walk. Down the road at the crossroad I turned right to make the leg of my walking loop. I saw something and walked up on it and WHAT!   It was this critter in the road.

We have seen crawfish along creeks but never in a road and never this big. He was as long as my hand and fingers.  Those claws were clacking away as I got close to take a photo and he reared up on his tail with his mouth open!

I think he has been a science fiction movie star and was still in his character!
