For the Winter

Today I’ve been making redcurrant jelly - a first for me. We had so many fruit from the bushes at the allotment, I thought I’d try and preserve some of their tasty goodness for use later in the year. The process was easy, especially as redcurrants are high in pectin so the jelly set very quickly. Afterwards I gave the end product an essential taste test!
