5 30pm kick off for the match this evening. 3 mins in and Newcastle were a goal down. It went downhill from there. It was a shocking display by Newcastle. Outclassed at every turn by Liverpool. By the time their 6th goal went in a lot of the crowd had left in disgust. There was booing at the end of the match. When you have paid £45 for a ticket, as I did, you really expect a better performance. And the Liverpool fans chanting " You're going down " didn't help - relegation is most definitely looming . The team need to pull something out of the bag soon - there are only 3 matches before the end of the season.

The manager Alan Pardew is very fond of making excuses.... " the team were tired", " we have so many players out injured " etc.... wonder what excuse he will come up with for the shambolic display of today.
