Village Playground
Today we enjoyed a huge Full English Breakfast cooked by W. The idea was to send us off so well fed that it would last us all day. It did. We had a pretty smooth run, or so Mr PP tells me. I slept for much of the journey. When we arrived at our new house (bungalow) our son, daughter and grand-daughter opened the door to us - joined soon after by our son-in-law, too. The young men did practically all the strong-arm stuff, and now we have boxes everywhere, waiting to be sorted. Our furniture proper arrives next week when the removals men will do the lifting. Gives us a few days to decide where to direct it all.
While the men were emptying the van, little Miss B took me and her mum to the village play park, just up the road. (She'd been several times previously, before we lived here!) It's a wonderful place with a wildlife area, including a bug hotel and a wildflower patch.
Tomorrow Mr PP and son will empty our rented container - more stuff! But this time mainly garden tools and garage paraphernalia. But they won't be starting at crack of dawn as it's little Miss B's birthday. Woo Hoo!
