We're going to get you

If the angry bird doesn't get you, the lizard will.

These 2 pictures were taken within minutes of each other, from my sun lounger.

I was told that it was mating season for the lizards I was very glad to not be lying in the cabana behind me when 2 males chased a female through it. The occupants quickly vacated after they felt these claws in their bodies.

I wanted to include done of the wildlife I saw during my holiday but couldn't choose between these 2. Close runners up were coconuts, a colourful (species unknown) yellow and black bird and lots of flowers. My attempts at capturing humming birds and pelicans were less successful with my compact camera.
