Shadow View ...

..across our street at 5 pm this afternoon--a view that was in fact new to me.  Our house is just out of sight to the right.

We've just finished watchiing a tense tennis match in San Jose, California,  between the American Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka of Japan.  Gauff won in two sets, 6-4, 6-4---fun to watch. Regular readers may remember that we've been following Gauff since she began playing at 15--she's now 18.
