Hampstead

Had a really lovely day with my Mum today. We drove up into London and parked up near Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath. The house was completely surrounded by scaffolding and tarpaulin, as it's undergoing renovation, but we had a nice wander around the grounds and got some great views across London from the heath, sitting on a bench with an ice cream. It was a strange mixed day of weather - we had hailstones when we got out of the car, but then some lovely bursts of sunshine, too.

Drove back to mine and Tim's, where he was cooking us a delicious babotie for dinner (and had cleaned the flat, too, bless him) :)
