Hoppy Ending

After completing our first week at Sun we decided to go out for a few beers in Palo Alto last night. I thoroughly enjoyed the microbrews at Gordon Biersch and then we discovered Palo Alto's "English Pub", the Rose and Crown. There we had a couple of pints of something approximating to Speckled Hen. It's a funny little place, almost a charicature of an English pub.

Although it wasn't available, I rather like the idea of a pint called "Hoppy Ending" and I must try to find somewhere to sample it - and possibly some of the other output of the Palo Alto Brewing Co.

I missed talking to MrsCyclops because I was on conference calls most of the afternoon, when it is convenient to call. Boo!
