Fade To Black

I loved the colour in these small hydrangea flowers, but somehow I prefer the simplicity and ambiguity of this black and white rendition. I think maybe because I missed focus, which caused me to initially dismiss this frame, I was drawn to the softness and lack of texture or definition. It's more about the shapes and gesture.
