Another Mabel's orchard orb weaver spider. They are a species of long-jawed orb weavers in the spider family Tetragnathidae and is found from the United States south to Brazil. I think they're beautiful and everywhere in our yard this time of year. They have lots to eat since insects are plentiful. The following  is one of my very favorite quotes of all time:
