Cabbies’ shelter

This old shelter, where London cabbies used to be able to take a break and get a hot meal, is on the corner of Russell Square. We went to the Feminine Power exhibition at the British Museum today. I had mixed feelings about it.
Later we met dear daughter and husband, who had been to the Foundling Museum. We had a snack at an Italian cafe that’s been run by the same family for 40 years. A really pleasant contrast to all the restaurant chains.
