one day in France

By Frenchtoast

Yet another hot day.

This rather austere building, the Pasteur Hospital in Royan, is very efficient and impressive. I was in and out in less than half an hour and didn’t even have to take my shorts off!
I had to stand on a shelf against a purple wall, and then the shelf moved and suddenly I was horizontal on a purple table! I got the giggles at that point as I wasn’t expecting it and didn’t really know what was going on!
The radiographer explained that the X Ray was just protocol and wouldn’t show anything, and that I needed an echo which I’m having next month.
Never mind, it was a nice distraction from making beds which I’ve been doing this morning as our lovely gîte guests have left today for two nights in St Malo before crossing the channel and going home.
