Aviemore Ring Cairn and Stone Circle

Half a century since I last had a look at this and a housing development now surrounds the cairn and the few remaining stones of the circle are almost swamped by a hedge. The monument is well preserved - possibly protected by the rowan tree- traditionally they ward off evil spirits. I liked the presence of the tree.
