Thursday, a day when I used to go to The Mate's. I went again today, just to check on post and sort a few more things. Nearly done now, it can't be long before the auctioneers do a house clearance.

In the evening I was invited to join some old friends in Keswick. I must say, it was a bit of a shock seeing armed police guarding the Convention site!

We live in worrying times! Even here in the Lake District. Let's be careful out there! Yes, I'm a Hill Street Blues fan.
